These Terms and Conditions apply to both the website and the mobile application (app).

Summary

application-eta.uk is a private intermediary service — not the UK Government. We charge a handling fee (€46 / €96 / €146) plus the UK Government fee of £20 (~€23), totalling €69 / €119 / €169 depending on your plan. Fees are non-refundable once your application has been submitted. The final ETA decision rests solely with the UK Home Office.

1. Service Description

application-eta.uk is a private assistance company. We provide a managed application service for UK Electronic Travel Authorisations (ETAs). Our service includes:

  • Expert review of your selfie photo and passport biographical page photo before submission
  • Verification that your name matches the machine-readable zone of your passport exactly
  • Checking all suitability answers are complete and consistent
  • Submission of your application to the UK Home Office
  • Email notification of your application status
  • 24/7 customer support

  • The UK Government fee is £20 GBP. The EUR equivalent shown at checkout may vary slightly based on the exchange rate at the time of payment.
  • All prices are charged in Euros (EUR) at checkout and include both the UK Government fee and our handling fee.
  • The UK Government fee of £20 is paid to the Home Office as part of your application by us on your behalf. This fee is set by the UK Government.
  • A 10% discount on the handling fee is available for military veterans, students, and minors under 18. Tick the relevant box in the application form before payment. No documentation required.
  • Payment is accepted by Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
  • All payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store card details.

3. Refund Policy

⚠️ Non-Refundable Service

Due to the digital nature of our service and the immediate expert review and processing that begins upon payment, fees are non-refundable once your application has been submitted — including the UK Government fee and our handling fee, regardless of the outcome (approved, refused, or withdrawn).

📱Purchases Made Through the App

For purchases made through the Google Play Store, Google’s standard refund policy applies within 48 hours of purchase. After 48 hours, our refund policy above applies.

Exceptions considered on a case-by-case basis:

  • Duplicate payment: If you were charged twice for the same application due to a technical error, we will refund the duplicate charge.
  • Service not delivered: If we failed to submit your application due to an error on our part, we will refund the handling fee.

To raise a refund query, email [email protected] within 14 days of payment, including your name, email used when applying, and reason for the request.

4. Applicant Responsibilities

By submitting an application through application-eta.uk, you confirm that:

  • All information provided is accurate and matches your passport exactly.
  • The passport photos and selfie submitted meet the UK Home Office requirements.
  • The answers to all suitability questions are truthful. Providing false information on a UK ETA application is a criminal offence under UK immigration law.
  • You are applying for your own ETA or have the explicit consent of the person whose ETA is being applied for. By ticking the authorisation checkbox in the application form, you formally authorise application-eta.uk to submit a UK ETA application to UKVI on your behalf or on behalf of the named applicant.
  • Applications for minors (under 18): If you are applying on behalf of a minor, you confirm that you are the legal parent or guardian of that minor and are authorised to provide their personal data, including biometric data, for the purpose of this application.
  • You understand that the ETA is linked to the specific passport number used in the application. If you renew your passport, a new ETA must be applied for.
  • You will notify us immediately if you notice an error in your submitted application.
  • You are 18 years of age or older, or are the legal parent/guardian of the applicant.
  • You have read and understood that this is a private paid service with no guarantees.

application-eta.uk is not liable for delays, refusals, or adverse outcomes resulting from inaccurate information provided by the applicant.

5. No Guarantee of ETA Approval or UK Entry

We ensure your application is submitted correctly and completely to the Home Office. However:

  • The final decision to grant or refuse a UK ETA rests solely with the UK Home Office. We have no influence over this decision.
  • An approved UK ETA does not guarantee entry to the United Kingdom. UK Border Force officers have the right to refuse entry to any individual at the border, regardless of ETA status.
  • A refused ETA does not necessarily prevent reapplication. Many refusals are technical (photo quality, data mismatch) and can be resolved with a new application.

6. Processing Times

Our handling fee plan determines our internal processing speed. Home Office processing is outside our control.

Processing time guarantees apply only to our internal handling speed and refer to business days (Monday to Friday), excluding weekends and bank holidays. The Home Office may take up to 3 working days (or longer in cases requiring manual review), regardless of the service plan selected. We operate on UK time. Please apply well in advance of your intended travel date to the UK.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, application-eta.uk’s liability is limited to the handling fee paid for the service. We are not liable for:

  • Decisions made by the UK Home Office regarding ETA approval or refusal
  • Decisions made by UK Border Force regarding entry to the United Kingdom
  • Delays caused by the Home Office processing system
  • Travel costs, accommodation costs, or other expenses incurred as a result of an ETA refusal or border entry refusal or late approval of your ETA. Please apply well in advance of your travel date to the UK.
  • Inaccurate information provided by the applicant

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Romanian law. EU consumers retain all rights afforded by EU consumer protection legislation regardless of this governing law clause. UK consumers retain all rights afforded by UK consumer law.

9. Data Protection

We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available at application-eta.uk/privacy-policy/, and in compliance with EU GDPR and UK GDPR.

By completing the application form and ticking the required consent checkboxes, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy.
